Desde diciembre, Australia tiene una nueva ley. Esta ley dice que los menores de 16 años no pueden usar redes sociales como YouTube o Instagram. El gobierno quiere ayudar a los niños a sentirse mejor.

Pero la ley no está funcionando. Muchos niños siguen usando estas apps a diario. Es muy fácil crearse una cuenta nueva. Los niños solo tienen que poner una edad falsa, o sus padres pueden echarles una mano. Las grandes empresas tecnológicas no impiden que los niños las usen.

Ahora, el gobierno está enfadado. Quieren que estas empresas paguen mucho dinero si no cumplen las normas. Otros países están pendientes de Australia para ver qué pasa a continuación.
