El actor Tom Holland dice que la película muestra por qué necesitamos amigos y la ayuda de los demás. Spider-Man conoce a nuevos amigos en la historia, como The Punisher y Bruce Banner. La actriz Sadie Sink también sale en la película. Su personaje es un gran secreto.
El director dice que no deberías intentar enterarte de todo antes de verla. Quiere que los fans disfrutéis juntos de las grandes sorpresas en el cine.
