La Casa de la Moneda de Perth, en Australia, ha fabricado el lingote de oro más grande del mundo, que pesa 521,2 kilogramos. Ha batido el antiguo récord de 300 kilogramos que tenía Dubái.

Más de 35 expertos trabajaron juntos durante tres días para fabricarlo, y los jueces de Guinness World Records supervisaron todo el proceso. El lingote es especial porque tiene una pureza muy alta, del 99,999 %, algo extremadamente difícil de conseguir. Solo el metal vale más de 100 millones de dólares, pero el lingote se creó para mostrar al mundo lo hábiles que son los orfebres australianos. Pronto podrás ver el lingote gigante expuesto en la Casa de la Moneda de Perth. Hoy en día, el oro es un negocio muy importante en Australia.
