Los sitios de la UNESCO en Latinoamérica están en peligro —nivel 1—

Hoy en día, dos lugares famosos de América Latina corren un gran peligro.

Machu Picchu, en Perú, recibe demasiados turistas cada año. Mucha gente pisa las piedras antiguas y daña el yacimiento. El mal tiempo y las lluvias torrenciales también causan grandes problemas. Ahora el gobierno limita el número de personas que pueden visitarlo cada día. En Honduras, la gente tala árboles enormes en una famosa selva tropical. Las explotaciones agrícolas ilegales, la minería de oro y los delincuentes destruyen el bosque y perjudican a los animales salvajes.

La gente de la zona intenta salvar sus tierras, pero es peligroso. Los expertos dicen que los países deben colaborar ya para ayudar a salvar estos parajes naturales tan especiales.
