Brasil tiene graves problemas de deuda de cara a las próximas elecciones. La mayoría de las familias tienen deudas. Usan tarjetas de crédito y préstamos con intereses muy altos.

Mucha gente también pierde dinero porque usa el móvil para apostar en deportes por internet. Las pequeñas empresas y los agricultores tampoco pueden pagar a sus bancos. El Gobierno también tiene muchas deudas. Gasta dinero en programas sociales y en las personas mayores.

El presidente Lula quiere ayudar a las familias sin dinero. Su rival político quiere recortar el gasto público para ahorrar dinero. Los expertos dicen que un nivel de deuda elevado es muy malo para la economía. El próximo presidente debe hacer grandes cambios para ayudar al país a crecer.
