La gente de Irkutsk, en Siberia, está preocupada después de que un trabajador de un laboratorio falleciera por una presunta infección de peste.

Las autoridades rusas dicen que aún no se ha confirmado la causa de la muerte y que no hay un gran peligro. Algunos vecinos confían en el Gobierno, mientras que otros temen que el virus se haya escapado del laboratorio de investigación. Los expertos en salud explican que cada año se dan casos de peste en lugares como África, pero un incidente en un laboratorio, claro, asusta a la gente después de la pandemia de COVID-19.

Los líderes internacionales y la UE están intentando obtener información clara del Gobierno ruso. Los expertos dicen que, si nadie más se pone enfermo en los próximos días, es probable que esta situación sea un suceso aislado y de poca importancia, y no una nueva pandemia peligrosa.
