El primer ministro británico, Keir Starmer, está en un buen lío. Su partido político ha perdido muchos votos en las elecciones. Después de eso, figuras importantes del Gobierno han dimitido. El ministro de Sanidad se ha ido. Dice que Starmer es un mal líder.

Ahora, otros políticos quieren ocupar el puesto de primer ministro. Llevará algún tiempo elegir a un nuevo líder, y Starmer no está muy fuerte en estos momentos. Esta situación complica las cosas para la Unión Europea. Gran Bretaña y la UE quieren reunirse pronto. Quieren llegar a un nuevo acuerdo sobre la venta de alimentos. Ahora, nadie sabe si el acuerdo se concretará.

Algunos políticos británicos quieren alejarse de Europa, pero la economía británica va mal. Ahora hay menos dinero y menos puestos de trabajo en el Reino Unido. Nuevos estudios muestran que el 55 % de los británicos quiere volver a unirse a la Unión Europea.
