Hoy en día, mucha gente en Londres no quiere comprar pisos. Antes, la gente hacía colas para comprarlos, pero ahora muchos pisos se quedan vacíos durante meses.

Comprar un piso es muy caro. Construir un piso también sale caro. Además, los bancos piden mucho más dinero. Muchos propietarios están tristes. No pueden vender sus casas. Algunos pisos tienen tuberías de gas rotas o paredes peligrosas por incendios antiguos. Los propietarios no arreglan los problemas rápidamente.

Por culpa de estos problemas, muchos jóvenes no pueden mudarse a casas más grandes. El Gobierno está intentando que comprar una vivienda sea más barato y seguro para todo el mundo.
