Un tribunal de EE. UU. le ha impuesto a Meta una multa enorme. Meta es la empresa dueña de Facebook e Instagram.

El juez dice que Meta no protege a los niños en Internet. La empresa conoce los peligros de la red, pero no ayuda a los jóvenes. Ahora Meta tiene que pagar un montón de dinero para ayudar a los niños que han sufrido daños. Meta también tiene que crear nuevas normas para sus aplicaciones. Meta dice que intenta mantener a los jóvenes a salvo. La empresa quiere recurrir la decisión del tribunal.

Hay quien quiere más normas para evitar que pasen cosas malas en Internet. Otros piensan que los niños necesitan más ayuda de sus padres para estar seguros en la red.
