El «efecto de la puerta» es un problema habitual relacionado con la memoria. Entras en una habitación y te olvidas de por qué estás allí.

Esto pasa porque tu cerebro cree que está empezando algo nuevo cuando cruzas una puerta. Para prepararse para cosas nuevas, tu cerebro borra lo que tenías en la memoria. Los científicos lo han comprobado en habitaciones reales y virtuales. La gente olvida más cosas cuando cruza puertas o hace muchas cosas a la vez. Cambiar de pestaña en el ordenador puede tener el mismo efecto.

Si te olvidas de tu objetivo, puedes volver a la primera habitación o repetir tu idea en voz alta.

Reading

  1. Read two news articles every day.
  2. Read the news articles from the day before and check if you remember all new words.

Listening

  1. Listen to the news from today and read the text at the same time.
  2. Listen to the news from today without reading the text.

Writing

  1. Answer the question under today’s news and write the answer in the comments.
