Millones de personas en Europa miran al cielo para ver un eclipse solar. La Luna se coloca delante del Sol y bloquea su luz.

En España e Islandia, el cielo se oscurece mucho, como si fuera de noche. En el Reino Unido, la gente solo ve una pequeña parte del Sol en el cielo. Mucha gente sale a la calle junta. Se ponen gafas especiales para protegerse. Durante el eclipse, el aire se enfría y hay poca luz. La gente está muy contenta y emocionada por ver este evento tan especial.

Los expertos dicen que este es un día muy excepcional. La gente del Reino Unido tendrá que esperar mucho tiempo para volver a verlo. El próximo eclipse solar será en 2090.
