Por fin, los turistas pueden ver el Partenón – nivel 3

Los turistas que visitan Atenas se quedan boquiabiertos ante el frontón occidental del Partenón después de que los restauradores hayan desvelado por fin este antiguo monumento. El templo se puede ver ahora en su forma más completa en más de 200 años.

Durante mucho tiempo, esta emblemática estructura situada en lo alto de la Acrópolis estuvo cubierta por pesada maquinaria de construcción, grandes estructuras metálicas y andamios, que impedían la vista a los visitantes. Ahora, tras retirar por fin todos los materiales de construcción, la gente puede ver el antiguo monumento tanto de cerca como desde más lejos sin ningún obstáculo visual.

Los visitantes describen el templo recién descubierto como increíblemente bonito, especial y asombroso. La vista completa les brinda una oportunidad única de hacerse una idea de cómo era realmente este edificio histórico en el pasado. Para muchos viajeros internacionales, ver la Acrópolis limpia y terminada cumple el sueño de toda una vida; algunos incluso dicen que el ambiente majestuoso les hace sentir como si los dioses aún vivieran dentro del edificio.
