Protestas en Belfast tras un ataque con arma blanca – nivel 1

Llevan dos noches de grandes enfrentamientos y protestas en la ciudad de Belfast, en Irlanda del Norte. Todo empezó porque un hombre de Sudán atacó a un vecino con un cuchillo. El vecino resultó gravemente herido y perdió un ojo.
La policía detuvo al agresor. Tras el ataque, mucha gente se enfadó. Empezaron los disturbios. La gente lanza piedras y botellas a la policía. Arden coches y casas. La policía tiene que usar un camión cisterna para detener los enfrentamientos. Las escuelas, las tiendas y los autobuses cierran temprano. La gente se va a casa para ponerse a salvo. Por la tarde, el centro de la ciudad está desierto.
Los políticos dicen que la violencia debe acabar. La familia del hombre herido también pidió calma. Agradecen a las personas que le salvaron la vida. Pero dicen que no está bien usar este triste suceso para odiar a otros o pelear.
