La Unión Europea tiene un nuevo sistema de pasaporte digital. Utiliza fotos faciales y huellas dactilares para las personas de países no pertenecientes a la UE. Los viajeros se acercan primero a una máquina.

Después, te atiende un agente de fronteras. Este nuevo control lleva más tiempo por persona. Ahora, en los aeropuertos de Europa hay colas muy largas. Algunos viajeros esperan muchas horas. Acaban perdiendo sus vuelos.

Cada aeropuerto usa máquinas diferentes, así que es difícil solucionar los problemas. Hoy en día, los viajeros no pueden hacer ningún trámite desde el móvil antes de viajar. Grecia todavía puede usar los antiguos sellos en los pasaportes. Los responsables de los aeropuertos quieren suspender el nuevo sistema durante los meses de verano para que la gente pueda viajar más rápido.
