La India es un destino famoso por el turismo médico. Cada año viajan a la India muchas personas enfermas. El país cuenta con hospitales privados muy buenos y médicos muy competentes.

Los tratamientos son mucho más baratos que en los países occidentales. Los pacientes no tienen que esperar mucho para operarse. Muchos pacientes vienen de África y Asia. Hoy en día, otros países como Tailandia y Turquía también quieren atraer a más pacientes de distintos países.

Para mantenerse a la vanguardia, las empresas indias están utilizando nuevas tecnologías e inteligencia artificial para ayudar a los médicos. La India quiere demostrar que su sistema sanitario es moderno, seguro y de alta calidad, no solo barato.
