La India es uno de los principales centros mundiales de turismo médico. Cada año, muchos pacientes extranjeros viajan allí para someterse a cirugías complejas y recibir atención médica.

La India ofrece precios muy bajos, excelentes hospitales privados y médicos muy cualificados. A los pacientes también les gusta que no tengan que esperar mucho para ver a un especialista. La mayoría de los pacientes extranjeros vienen de países cercanos como Bangladés, así como de algunas zonas de África y Oriente Medio. Pero otros países como Turquía, Tailandia y Corea del Sur también se están haciendo muy populares.

Para seguir siendo competitiva, la India está invirtiendo en nuevas tecnologías e inteligencia artificial. Las startups están creando dispositivos inteligentes para detectar enfermedades antes y planificar operaciones complicadas. Hoy en día, la India quiere demostrar al mundo que ofrece tecnología moderna y de alta calidad, no solo precios bajos.
