Escocia está muy de moda en las redes sociales ahora mismo. Millones de personas ven fotos preciosas en Instagram y quieren visitar las montañas y los castillos.

Este turismo aporta mucho dinero y puestos de trabajo a Escocia, pero también causa grandes problemas a los pueblos tranquilos.

Demasiados turistas llegan en grandes autocaravanas y bloquean las estrechas carreteras. A la gente de aquí le cuesta llegar al trabajo o al colegio. Además, los turistas dejan basura y no hay suficientes plazas de aparcamiento. Otro gran problema es la vivienda, ya que muchas casas ahora solo se usan para las vacaciones, por lo que las familias locales no pueden comprarlas.

Ahora, en algunos lugares se está haciendo que los turistas paguen un impuesto especial y se están estableciendo normas estrictas para las casas de vacaciones. Los influencers de viajes también están intentando ayudar dejando de mostrar en Internet los lugares pequeños y recónditos.
