Miles de marroquíes llegan a Ceuta – nivel 2

España envió soldados a su enclave norteafricano de Ceuta para frenar una enorme oleada de migrantes. Decenas de miles de personas intentaron entrar desde Marruecos nadando por el mar o trepando por las vallas fronterizas.

Los líderes locales calificaron la situación de emergencia después de que nueve personas murieran al intentar cruzar. Los expertos dicen que una nueva norma judicial influyó en lo ocurrido, ya que garantiza que los migrantes tengan una revisión formal en lugar de ser devueltos de inmediato. Las fuerzas españolas actuaron con rapidez para asegurar la frontera y controlar a la multitud.

Poco después de llegar, la mayoría de los 50 000 migrantes decidieron dar media vuelta y volver a pie a Marruecos. Muchos dijeron que estaban muy cansados, hambrientos y que se dieron cuenta de que no podían quedarse en la ciudad.
