Las hermanas gemelas Morgan y Lisa se mudan a casas iguales. Morgan compra la suya. Lisa alquila la suya.

Morgan tiene que pagar mucho dinero al principio. Ella arregla la casa cuando se rompe algo. Al cabo de 30 años, Morgan termina de pagar la hipoteca y su casa vale mucho dinero. La compró por 400 000 dólares. Al cabo de 30 años, puede venderla por 1,3 millones. Lisa paga el alquiler cada mes. No tiene que pagar las reparaciones. Ahorra dinero. Tiene un plan de pensiones. Al cabo de 30 años, ha pagado 900 000 dólares en alquiler. Pero tiene 500 000 en su plan de pensiones.

Al final, Morgan gana más dinero comprando. Pero Lisa es libre de mudarse. Puede gastarse el dinero en aficiones, en lugar de en una casa.
